Bird Academy is proudly India's first and only IATA Regional Training Partner (RTP), one of just four in the Asia Pacific region. Delivered through IATA-certified instructors using official IATA curriculum, these courses offer a learning experience at par with an IATA Training Centre, designed for professionals across Airlines, Airport Operators, Ground Handling Companies, Cargo Companies, and the broader aviation industry. The portfolio spans over 300 specialised courses.
Authorised Training Centre (ATC)
IATA Authorised Training Centres (ATCs) are independent training facilities approved to deliver specific IATA courses and diplomas accredited on the basis of demonstrated instructional expertise and quality training. Students are trained at the ATC, while examinations are organised and supervised by IATA, culminating in globally recognised IATA certificates and diplomas. Bird Academy operates its ATC head office in Delhi, with a branch centre in Chandigarh. Accredited since 2002, the Academy has been consistently recognised by IATA for its High Graduate Success Rate (2009), as ATC Premier Circle Member (2010), Top Performing ATC for South Asia (2011–2018), and Top Performing IATA Accredited Training School (ATS) for South Asia (2016–2018).

Bird Academy, is approved institute by BCAS as Aviation Security Training Institute .The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has approved a network of Aviation Security Training Institutes (ASTIs) in order to promote the professional development of aviation security personnel globally.
The BCAS ASTI programme utilizes material developed and/ or endorsed by BCAS, and is aimed at supporting States in the implementation of Annex 17 Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). All BCAS – sponsored training offered by ASTIs is conducted by BCAS certified AVSEC instructors.
Bird Academy, is a Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) Provider Center of International Air Transport Association (IATA). The transition to CBTA-based training—now a global standard as mandated by ICAO since January 1, 2023—has enabled Bird Academy to shift from traditional syllabus-based training to performance-based learning, better equipping personnel with the specific skills required for each job function related to dangerous goods handling. This significant certification affirms that Bird Academy’s Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) training program aligns with IATA’s Section 1.5 standards, making it fully compliant with IATA’s CBTA framework for dangerous goods transportation by air.
